On 25 april all horses were out in the fields in Heteren. PE loved it.

Restarting getting used to the rider

Prince Elmelund is now 4 years old. After 1 year longe training and work in hand, he has now become very strong, with a lot of balance and he is very stable on his feet.
4 months ago was the last time we did the exercises to get him used to the weight of the rider. In those 4 months we focussed mostly on getting him physically stronger.
He is strong as a bear, so carrying the weight of a rider is now part of the training again.

In the paddock with Romanesque

In Baak, Prince Elmelund was stabled next to Romanesque, they could make contact through the bars. Outside they were in adjacent paddocks and they were very friendly over the fence. Now that the castration wounds have healed and PE has a little less hormones, it was time to put them together. And they loved it…
Moving to Heteren

Prince Elmelund moved to the Mariahoeve in Heteren, together with the other boys.
