I’m at home today, and I know a lot of our students and instructors and their friends and families have to stay home.
The coronavirus changed everything!
It came out of the blue.
It changed our perspective on the world.
It changed our view on safety.
It turned our whole life upside down.
A month ago, we were going to work, doing clinics, joining lessons, we were going to birthday parties and weddings….
Today we’re at home….
Quality questions create a quality life – even during tough times.
People who are successful – even in hard and difficult times – ask better questions, and as a result, they get better answers.
So we need to ask ourselves quality questions during the Corona pandemic.
Questions that empower and equip us to create better thoughts, empowering emotions, effective responses, and constructive solutions.

A Map of The Territory
Before we dive into the tips, let’s first check out this very simplistic map of the territory, where the territory is our brain:
- We have a reptilian brain
- A rational brain
- And a middle brain
This week, I’m doing daily livestream chats on Facebook on dealing with attitude, emotions, and coping STrategies we can use right now in the current corona situation.

Our own balance in body, mind, heart, and soul is the greatest determining factor in how our Straightness Training works out.
Also, in the challenging times that we’re all experiencing right now, we have to take care not to lose our center.
Of course, we’re all worried about what’s going to happen… today, next week… How long is this going to last?… When will it be over?… What does this mean for me, my work, my students?… What does it mean for the well-being of my family, families, friends, and communities?… Can we keep access to food?….
And yes, our actions are limited, we cannot do anything about the coronavirus (COVID-19) other than follow the basic instructions that doctors and governments are giving us all.
However, our responsibility is unlimited, which means, we have the ability to respond to this situation the best we can with the resources we have.
So what CAN we do to avoid that fear, anxiety, and worry are going to paralyze us, and what CAN we do to stay balanced and centered in our body, mind, heart, and soul.
